The following text is the message of the president for the year 2024-2025

 

Dear students,

 

It is with great pleasure and honor that I welcome you to the new official website of the National Student Union of Cypriot of the United Kingdom (EFEK UK). This platform was created with the aim of being a point of reference for the information, communication and support of Cypriot students studying in the United Kingdom.

​

 

EFEK UK is committed to promoting unity, cooperation and mutual assistance among students, enhancing the student experience academically, socially and culturally. As part of this commitment, we are very proud to announce the creation of a comprehensive housing network, which is coming to offer meaningful solutions to the housing problem facing many of you in the UK. In addition, through our website, we have created a network for finding roommates, providing the possibility for students to find a roommate, thus contributing to a cheaper and more pleasant living.

At the same time, as a Student Union, we remain faithful to the promotion of our national issue, the Cyprus problem, which continues to plague our island for 50 years. Through our actions, we bring the issue to the forefront of the student and wider community of the United Kingdom, keeping alive the struggle for a free and united Cyprus.

As President of EFEK UK, I would like to assure you that I am at your disposal for any problem, question or need that you may have. My social media accounts are open to all of you and I am available to offer any help or guidance.
